Teresa Dulaney and Anita Erickson provide a Bible based Sunday School lesson for Senior Highs. Relating principles for living into everyday life decisions faced by older teens. Striving to give them the foundation needed to anchor them spiritually as they face the world as young adults. Discussions can sometimes get lively.
Fellowship Class The Fellowship Class studies the scripture and lessons as presented in the quarterly “The Present Word.” This class is geared toward the 40+ crowd discussions are led by teachers that rotate each week.
Mixed Adult Class
When Westminster Presbyterian Church started there was a class for men and a class for women. This class encompasses both groups hence the name Mixed Adult. Meeting in the Conference Room the class studies lessons from the "The Present Word". Bob Walther is the main leader of the Mixed Adult Class. |
Exploring the Spirit
Starting in August we will begin our next book study class on A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life's Purpose, by Eckhart Tolle. Spiritual growth is like getting in shape, no one can do your push ups for you! Join up and start flexing your mind, body, and soul. J.O.Y. The J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) class is a discussion oriented class. We use a variety of resources, including Bible study guides and books on topics relevant to our life experiences. We have a rotation of teachers/discussion leaders. Most of our class members are 30 to 50, but everyone is welcome.
Kids Forever
A Sunday School class for young adults 18 or older who are out of high school. This class uses a variety of methods to study the word of God and meets following the church service in the Conference Room.
Discussion Class
This class uses the Present Word curriculum and is open to all adults. This class has a discussion format. |
